Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented SMT Technician to join our electronics manufacturing team.  The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting SMT lines to ensure efficient and high-quality PCB assembly.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor SMT equipment including pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, and screen printers.
  • Perform machine setup, changeovers, and adjustments according to production plan.
  • Conduct visual inspections and operate AOI and SPI machines to ensure solder quality and component placement accuracy.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on SMT equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair SMT line issues to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate checklist and maintenance records.
  • Work closely with SMT engineer and QC teams to implement process improvements.
  • Follow all safety, ESD, and quality control procedures.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience in SMT or PCB assembly (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
  • Familiarity with SMT machines such as DEK, ASM, Koh Young etc.
  • Ability to read and understand PCB assembly drawings and component placement files.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willing to work shifts.
